We are looking for a Senior Payment Settlement Specialist, If you feel at home with SWIFT, European payments schemes, and UK payment systems, and you're detail-oriented, responsible, and driven to deliver excellent service to clients, this role could be the perfect fit for you. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Execute, verify, and process domestic and international payment transactions accurately and within agreed timelines. Handle payment investigations, inquiries, returns, and recalls by communicating with correspondent banks and payment partners. Support internal stakeholders, payment intermediaries, and clients with settlement-related questions and operational issues. Monitor correspondent bank accounts and liquidity positions to ensure efficient payment processing and timely settlement. Perform reconciliations, balance checks, and end-of-day controls to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Help maintain high service standards for fintech and business clients by ensuring reliable and efficient payment operations. Verify and record treasury transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards. WHAT YOU'LL BRING Previous experience in payments, settlements, banking operations, treasury operations, or a similar financial services environment. Good understanding of payment schemes and networks, including SWIFT, Europen payments schemes, and UK payment schemes. High attention to detail, accountability, and a structured approach to work. Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive continuous improvement. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners. Excellent written and spoken English, as English is the primary language used in daily work. Interest in the payments ecosystem and motivation to contribute to its development and efficiency.
