You will play a key role in building and improving simulation environments used for UAV development, testing, and validation. Your work will help bridge the gap between software development and real-world flight testing by enabling engineers to validate systems in simulation before deployment on physical platforms. Adapt and extend simulation environments for UAV development: FlightGear SITL (PX4/ArduPilot) JSBSim Build and maintain simulation pipelines for testing, validation, and development Support transition of engineering work into simulated environments before physical testing Strong Python programming skills Good understanding of physics, dynamics, control systems, or numerical methods Experience with Linux development environments Ability to work independently and solve complex technical problems Fluent written and spoken English Strong in applied mathematics (modeling, physics-based simulation) Comfortable working across multiple domains (software + aerospace + systems) Hands-on, pragmatic, and capable of working with imperfect / evolving systems We offer the opportunity to do meaningful work in a fast-growing Estonian defense industry company, developing advanced UAV technologies with a direct impact on real-world systems and products.
