We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable QA Engineer who wants to grow with Askend! The aim of the QA Engineer role is to ensure the quality and functionality of our projects, which have a very high impact. You will directly affect the everyday life of Estonian people by identifying and resolving issues to improve user experience and maintain high standards. Have at least 3 years of experience in manual software testing Have hands-on experience with Postman and Swagger Have experience working with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases, including writing SQL queries Have experience working with XML when testing X-Road (X-tee) services. Have systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving Have strong communication and critical thinking skills Be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow Be a team player who genuinely cares about clients, colleagues, and delivery quality Be fluent in Estonian and comfortable communicating in English, both written and spoken Nice to have Experience with Playwright or Cypress ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification Experience using AI tools to support software testing Collaborate on the adoption and development of testing tools, environments, and QA practices Define and implement test strategies Plan, create, execute, and document manual tests, including test cases and test scenarios Perform functional, system, integration, and regression testing, including SQL and API testing Detect, document, and verify defects, and prepare test reports Work closely with analysts, developers, QA engineers, and clients to deliver high-quality solutions that support clients' business goals Great working conditions - We value your work-life balance and support a hybrid work model with flexibility to work both from the office and from home.
