Required: MSc in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field (recent graduates welcome) Solid foundation in electrical engineering fundamentals Hands-on skills in soldering and testing PCB-based devices Comfort with PCB design tools and measurement/testing equipment Basic familiarity with an IDE for microcontroller programming Confident with standard office tools and AI-assisted workflows A team player who takes ownership and follows through English at a professional working level Nice to have: Microcontroller programming experience Mathematical analysis and control algorithm design with simulation verification Estonian language skills As a Junior Power Electronics Engineer, you will join our R&D team and help accelerate the development of our next generation of universal power converters, including our work on the "Novel concept of Universal EV charging infrastructure". You will start hands-on — building, testing, and documenting hardware alongside senior engineers — and grow toward owning power electronics engineering tasks independently. Your day-to-day work will include: Assisting in hardware prototyping of power electronics converters Sourcing, assembling, and soldering electronic components and PCBs Supporting bench measurement, testing, and validation of prototypes Preparing test fixtures and helping maintain the lab Writing clear technical documentation of designs and results Within your first 12 months, the goal is for you to take responsibility for a defined part of a converter design, from prototype through bench-validated results.
