Learning Support Coordinator The International School of Estonia is seeking a qualified Learning Support Coordinator to strengthen inclusive practice and support students with identified or emerging learning needs across the IB continuum, including PYP, MYP and DP. The Learning Support Coordinator will establish, support and refine a structured system of support for students’ learning needs and collaborate with the school psychologist / counselor, Dean of Students, Principal-Coordinators and Director to support students academically, socio-emotionally and behaviorally. Role and Responsibilities The Learning Support Coordinator will: Provide targeted student support through push-in, pull-out, small group and individual instruction. Develop, implement and review Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and Support Plans with teachers, parents, students and relevant specialists. Support teachers with differentiation, accommodations, Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and practical classroom strategies. Coordinate the Learning Support referral, intervention and review process within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). Monitor student progress using observations, student work, assessment information, teacher input and intervention data. Support students with academic skills, executive function, organization, self-management, self-advocacy and independence. Collaborate with the school psychologist / counselor, Dean of Students, EAL teacher, Principal-Coordinators and classroom teachers when learning, language, wellbeing or behavioral needs overlap. Contribute to Student Support Team meetings, transition planning and assessment access arrangements where appropriate. Communicate clearly with families about student strengths, needs, goals, progress and support strategies. Provide practical guidance and professional learning for teachers on inclusive education and supporting diverse learners. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in line with school procedures and data protection expectations. Qualifications The successful candidate will have: A degree and teaching certification, with specialization, certification or substantial training in Special Educational Needs, Learning Support, Inclusive Education or a related field. At least two years of practical experience in learning support, special educational needs or inclusive education. Experience developing and reviewing ILPs, Support Plans or equivalent documentation. Strong understanding of differentiation, accommodations, UDL, MTSS and evidence-informed intervention. Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs in a school setting. Familiarity with IB programmes, or a strong willingness to learn. Strong written and spoken English. Excellent communication, organization, confidentiality and professional judgment.
