At Relax Gaming, you’ll work on our industry-leading poker product, building scalable, high-performance backend systems together with a team of experienced developers and poker enthusiasts. We’re known for pushing boundaries in the online poker space: constantly evolving the product with new features, formats, and improvements. With a strong roadmap ahead, we’re looking for someone who wants to help us take it even further. What you’ll be doing Building and maintaining robust backend systems using Java Contributing to the design and implementation of new features and improvements Collaborating closely with frontend developers and business stakeholders Continuously improving performance, scalability, and code quality Troubleshooting and solving complex technical challenges What we’re looking for 3+ years of experience in backend development with Java Experience working with message queues (e.g. RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar) Solid understanding of software development best practices Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication skills in English Nice to have Experience with Python Experience within iGaming or a similar domain Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB, Redis, or MariaDB Experience with concurrent and asynchronous programming A genuine interest in poker or gaming Why join us?
