Senior Global Operations Manager About Bolt Bolt is shaping a future where cities are built for people, not cars. What started as an ambitious project of a 19-year-old in 2013 has grown into a global mobility platform used by more than 200 million customers and 4.5 million driver and courier partners across 50 countries. From ride-hailing and food delivery to scooters, e-bikes, and car-sharing, Bolt helps people move through cities every day. Small, autonomous teams drive this work, combining the speed and ownership of a startup with the scale of a global technology company backed by more than €1bn in funding. And we're just getting started. Why join Bolt? Build the future of mobility and help transform how people live and move in cities. Tackle challenges at scale that span technology, operations, regulation, and growth. Take real ownership early. Small, lean teams mean your decisions matter from day one, and you'll learn fast alongside some of the best people in the industry. Join one of Europe's leading technology companies, backed by world-class investors including Sequoia. About the role We are looking for a Senior Manager to take full strategic ownership of the Mid Market (or Enterprise) segment across Bolt Food markets. This is a global commercial leadership role within the Merchant organisation. As a Senior Global Operations Manager, you will be responsible for defining segment strategy, setting the performance ambition, establishing commercial guardrails, and driving structural improvements that scale across regions. The role defines what good looks like for our more valuable merchants and ensures regional Account Management teams execute against a coherent, data-driven, and commercially sound framework. This is a high-impact position, being responsible for approx EUR 400M in annual GMV. The decisions made in this role shape revenue growth, commission levels, churn trajectory, investment allocation, and long-term profitability of the segment across Europe and Africa. Main tasks and responsibilities: Segment Strategy & Performance: Own the end-to-end commercial strategy of the Mid Market (or Enterprise) segment; set the ambition, define guardrails, and drive structural YoY revenue and margin improvement. Global Performance Framework: Define the global performance framework for the segment, including key KPIs, portfolio quality, and investment thresholds, ensuring consistent execution across regions. Commercial Playbooks: Translate strategy into scalable commercial playbooks covering acquisition, retention, renegotiation, upsell, and portfolio management, embedding these into systems and workflows. Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the central strategic counterpart to Commercial Teams, Product, Ads, and Finance, aligning priorities, resolving trade-offs, and ensuring initiatives drive measurable impact. Growth & Efficiency: Identify and unlock structural growth and efficiency opportunities, improving pricing architecture, investment discipline, merchant experience, and overall contribution margin. Performance Governance: Lead structured performance governance for the segment, including quarterly business reviews, market-level performance deep dives, and clear action plans for underperformance. About you: You are experienced in Account Management, Sales Ops, or Customer Success, ideally within a fast-paced global or regional environment. You have a track record of defining commercial strategies and targets, using insights to steer business-critical decisions, optimize metrics, and drive growth. You possess a deep understanding of revenue operations, including the commercial metrics and the technical tooling required to scale operational efficiency. You are a master communicator with a natural ability to bridge the gap between global strategy and local execution, aligning diverse stakeholders. You are highly organized and capable of managing multiple high-stakes priorities without losing sight of the details in a fast-moving landscape. You have a strong sense of ownership with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and a willingness to be based in and/or relocate to Tallinn, Estonia. Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying! Why you’ll love it here: Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities. Enjoy a rewarding salary and stock options, knowing that as Bolt succeeds, so do you. Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks. Celebrate 5 years at Bolt with a 1-month paid sabbatical to recharge. Connect with colleagues at annual company events and smaller team gatherings. Balance flexibility and in-person collaboration with our hybrid model, including at least 12 monthly in-office days. *Some perks may differ depending on your location and role. AI at Bolt: At Bolt, using AI daily is a baseline expectation for everyone. If there’s a faster, smarter way to do your work, we expect you to find it. You’re still responsible for the output, so the standard stays high when using AI tools. Everyone is welcome Bolt is an equal opportunity employer.
