About Bolt Bolt is shaping a future where cities are built for people, not cars. What started as an ambitious project of a 19-year-old in 2013 has grown into a global mobility platform used by more than 200 million customers and 4.5 million driver and courier partners across 50 countries. From ride-hailing and food delivery to scooters, e-bikes, and car-sharing, Bolt helps people move through cities every day. Small, autonomous teams drive this work, combining the speed and ownership of a startup with the scale of a global technology company backed by more than €1bn in funding. And we're just getting started. Why join Bolt? Build the future of mobility and help transform how people live and move in cities. Tackle challenges at scale that span technology, operations, regulation, and growth. Take real ownership early. Small, lean teams mean your decisions matter from day one, and you'll learn fast alongside some of the best people in the industry. Join one of Europe's leading technology companies, backed by world-class investors including Sequoia. About the role We're looking for a Global Sourcing Lead to join Bolt's Procurement team in Tallinn, Estonia. You'll be the strategic partner bridging business demand and procurement delivery for some of Bolt's fastest-growing verticals, driving commercial value at global scale. If you thrive in high-complexity, high-impact environments and know how to turn stakeholder relationships into procurement results, this one's for you. The Global Sourcing Lead is a senior role within Bolt's Procurement team, sitting at the intersection of business strategy and commercial delivery. Reporting to the Head of Sourcing – Operations, you'll act as the primary procurement partner for Bolt's key verticals, including Delivery and Bolt Drive. This isn't a back-office procurement role. You'll work directly with vertical leadership to shape procurement priorities, lead high-value sourcing initiatives, and build the supplier relationships that underpin Bolt's commercial performance globally. You'll also play an active role in developing the Procurement function itself. Main tasks and responsibilities: Act as the strategic procurement partner for Bolt's verticals, building trusted relationships with vertical leadership and translating business priorities into actionable procurement strategies and demand roadmaps. Lead end-to-end high-value sourcing initiatives, including RFx processes (using Workday/Zicus), bid evaluation, supplier selection recommendations, and stakeholder guidance throughout. Develop negotiation strategies and lead commercial negotiations, securing enterprise-wide agreements that minimise risk and deliver measurable value, including drafting SOWs, SLAs, and other commercial terms. Build and manage strategic supplier relationships across the verticals, covering performance management, contract compliance, proactive renewal planning, and regular supplier business reviews. Monitor market trends, conduct spend analysis, and run benchmarking activity to surface commercial opportunities and keep procurement strategy informed by accurate, actionable data. Ensure full compliance with Bolt's procurement policies and the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, acting as an escalation point for vertical procurement issues and contributing to continuous function development. About you Proven experience in strategic procurement or sourcing, ideally within a global, fast-growth, or technology-led environment. Strong track record leading complex, high-value commercial negotiations and delivering measurable savings across a portfolio of supplier agreements. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience advising and partnering with senior business leaders across multiple functions or verticals. Confident with procurement data: spend analytics, benchmarking, and total cost of ownership modelling are a natural part of how you work. Clear, credible communicator in English, able to present procurement strategies and recommendations to diverse audiences. Familiarity with RFx tools and procurement platforms, ideally including Workday or similar. Why you’ll love it here: Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities. Enjoy a rewarding salary and stock options, knowing that as Bolt succeeds, so do you. Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks. Celebrate 5 years at Bolt with a 1-month paid sabbatical to recharge. Connect with colleagues at annual company events and smaller team gatherings. Balance flexibility and in-person collaboration with our hybrid model, including at least 12 monthly in-office days. Some perks may differ depending on your location and role. At Bolt, using AI daily is a baseline expectation for everyone. If there’s a faster, smarter way to do your work, we expect you to find it. You’re still responsible for the output, so the standard stays high when using AI tools. Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying! Everyone is welcome Bolt is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where all qualified applicants are considered for employment without regard to race, colour, nationality, religion, gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are happy to make reasonable accommodations throughout our hiring process. If you require any adjustments, please let us know.
