In this role, you will build, maintain, and enhance the tools and processes that enable reliable software delivery and daily operations. As part of the IT Ops team, you will collaborate closely with development and other technical teams to ensure smooth deployments, efficient workflows, and continuous operational improvements. Your focus will be on managing and optimizing our on-premise environments, with a strong emphasis on Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD, and reliability. Core responsibilities Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot on-premise infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, and supporting services that enable reliable operation of business-critical applications. Design, build, and maintain automation solutions, infrastructure-as-code practices, and CI/CD pipelines to improve operational efficiency and streamline software delivery. Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using monitoring and alerting tools; participate in incident management and on-call rotations to investigate issues, resolve incidents, and prevent recurring problems. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to improve development and deployment workflows, share DevOps best practices, and provide effective technical solutions. Maintain clear documentation of systems and processes, and evaluate tools and improvements that enhance reliability, efficiency, and overall DevOps practices. Experience and key competencies 2+ years of experience in a DevOps / SRE or similar infrastructure-focused role, with hands-on experience managing Linux-based systems and troubleshooting infrastructure issues. Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production or production-like environments. Experience managing CI/CD pipelines, software delivery processes, and infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar. Familiarity with GitOps tools such as Kargo, ArgoCD, or Flux, as well as container technologies such as Docker/containerd. Experience with monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting system availability, reliability, and performance issues. Ability to automate operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate technical issues and implement effective solutions. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders while explaining complex technical concepts clearly. Fluency in verbal and written communication in English is essential, as it's our primary means of interaction Nice to have Knowledge of distributed systems, databases, and related technologies such as Kafka or PostgreSQL.
