Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 4+ years of hands-on software development experience within enterprise environments. Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security. Solid experience with relational databases, SQL, and database technologies such as Oracle and Liquibase. Experience building and supporting REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ and/or Kafka. Curious about AI and actively explores how it can improve software engineering; practical experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies to improve productivity or quality is highly desirable. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions using modern development practices. Lead technical investigations, troubleshoot complex production issues, and drive root-cause analysis across distributed systems and services. Analyze business requirements, identify dependencies and risks, and contribute to solution architecture and technical design decisions. Ensure software quality through code reviews, automated testing, performance optimization, refactoring, and continuous improvement initiatives. Own and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical designs, and engineering knowledge repositories using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Wiki, or similar platforms. Utilize AI tools and services to enhance development efficiency, improve code quality, automate engineering tasks, and contribute to AI-enabled product capabilities where appropriate. Mentor and support fellow developers, collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, UX Designers, and other stakeholders, and take ownership of solutions through deployment and production support. Work on large-scale enterprise applications that support global business operations.
