About the role Bolt Ads operates across two verticals, Merchant Ads and Brand Ads, and every strategic decision, from country prioritisation to pricing models, depends on rigorous analysis that turns commercial ambiguity into clear action. You won't just produce insights; you'll drive the decisions and execution that follow. This means owning revenue forecasting, setting targets across markets, identifying opportunities before anyone asks, and being the go-to analytical partner for commercial and technical stakeholders alike. Main tasks and responsibilities: Own the monetisation analytics function, build and evolve KPI frameworks, dashboards, and analytical infrastructure used to drive revenue decisions across markets Build and maintain revenue forecast models, own target-setting across markets, and track forecast accuracy versus plan Act as a trusted analytical partner to Account Managers, General Managers, Product, and Engineering, translating business questions into structured analysis and findings into commercial action Structure and solve ambiguous commercial problems: decompose questions like "why is advertising adoption plateauing in this market?" into hypotheses, run the analysis, and deliver recommendations with a clear "so what" Proactively surface revenue opportunities, underperforming segments, untapped markets, pricing inefficiencies, adoption gaps, and work with commercial teams to capture them Build scalable, self-serve reporting and partner with data engineering to automate manual workflows, freeing capacity for higher-impact analytical work About you: 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or commercial analytics within marketplace, e-commerce, digital advertising, or other data-intensive environments, turning complex data into actionable business insights. Advanced SQL expertise, including CTEs, window functions, multi-table joins, and cohort analysis, with SQL serving as the primary tool for solving business problems and driving decision-making. Proven track record of building forecasting models and selecting the right analytical approach based on business context, while clearly communicating methodology, assumptions, and trade-offs. Strong problem-structuring skills, able to break down ambiguous business questions into key drivers, formulate hypotheses, and identify the right data before conducting analysis. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, confidently presenting insights to senior leadership, leading with clear. Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Metabase, combined with an ownership mindset that drives projects from analysis through execution and measurable impact.
