About the role The Central Operations Specialist – Efficiency owns automation configuration and performance management across assigned markets. The role ensures automation configurations are correctly implemented and maintained, and — critically — traces performance issues to their true root cause, distinguishing genuine config errors from upstream product, compliance or data gaps. The Specialist acts as the market expert, analysing automation metrics to identify issues, independently deciding on mitigation, and ensuring regular visibility across local and central teams. Working closely with product and program functions, they drive performance improvements, coordinate problem-solving efforts and lead projects with global impact to increase automation success and scalability. Main tasks and responsibilities Own automation configuration and performance across assigned markets or regional scope — ensure automations are correctly implemented, maintained and optimised Act as the market expert — maintain deep understanding of automation performance, context and challenges. Diagnose root causes, not just symptoms — investigate automation failures end-to-end, separating configuration errors from upstream causes (product logic, document/compliance changes, data quality, backend migrations). Partner with product teams— work with product and program teams to understand how upstream changes affect market configs, flag structural gaps in market setup or tooling, and feed recurring failure patterns back into product and process improvements. Independently drive improvement actions — make decisions on issue mitigation and prioritisation within your daily scope. Coordinate corrective measures across local and central teams to ensure timely and effective resolution. Provide visibility and insights — consolidate regional performance context and confidently present it in program and domain discussions.
