We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Legal Advisor who is passionate about providing high-quality legal support in an international environment. The ideal candidate has a proactive mindset, strong analytical skill and collaborative. You are professional, approachable, and committed to delivering practical legal advice while building effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the organization. Provide legal advice to the Management and staff of NATO CCDCOE on all legal matters affecting the Centre. Ensure the legal compliance of procurement procedures and contracts. Facilitate international personnel assignments in Estonia by providing legal guidance. Advise on and assist with legal arrangements with Sponsoring Nations and Contributing Participants. Manage contracts with external organizations and other contracting parties. Participate in the Centre's decision-making processes by providing legal expertise. Advise on the responsibilities, functions, operations, and activities of NATO CCDCOE under international and national law. Monitor and ensure compliance with the Framework Nation's legal system and other applicable legal requirements. Identify and mitigate legal risks while supporting the Centre's strategic and operational objectives. Master’s degree or equivalent in legal domain Minimum 5 years of practical experience (as well in public sector) in the legal domain Familiarity with the structures and operations of NATO Knowledge of international organisations and NATO legal system Excellent written and spoken English and Estonian Constructive and open communicator Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex legal matters independently and efficiently. Position requires NATO SECRET Security Clearance, thus, the successful candidate must be ready to apply for and be in accord with the requirements for personnel security clearance. 35 days annual leave plus 1 paid day every quarter.
