Our client is looking for an experienced Plant Director to take a comprehensive view of operations and get the factory running reliably. This role requires a hands-on leader who can stabilise and structure production, address both technical and people-related challenges, and drive automation, continuous improvement and CAPEX-backed investments to improve performance. Your responsibilities: Lead and coach the site management team (production, quality, planning and finance/operations), ensuring clear ownership, decision rights and effective deputy coverage. Build a robust operating model for the plant: routines, roles and governance that support stable planning, smooth execution and clear escalation. Own the automation and continuous improvement roadmap, including business case/ROI work, headcount impact analysis, implementation and benefits realisation. Drive performance improvements across productivity, maintenance and energy use, and manage CAPEX/OPEX initiatives by preparing, prioritising and presenting investment proposals. Own site KPIs and financial follow-up: convert commercial targets into operational plans, capacity/resource needs and measurable performance outcomes. Be a visible, hands-on leader: remove obstacles quickly, address people topics constructively and resolve operational issues with a pragmatic approach. Ensure compliance with HSE, quality and permitting requirements, and manage required reporting towards authorities and group stakeholders. Deliver structured weekly reporting and communication on performance trends, risks and action plans to both local teams and group management. Approve operational administration (timesheets, invoices) and contribute to budgeting, forecasting and investment planning. Represent the site in group forums and collaborate with other plants to share best practices and harmonise ways of working. What we are looking for: Experience leading a manufacturing site as Site Director (or similar), with end-to-end responsibility for production performance and day-to-day execution. Strong production finance capability: budgeting, cost control, FTE modelling, and building ROI cases for automation and efficiency improvements. Hands-on experience in stabilising and structuring operations (change management, clarifying roles, setting routines, bulding predictable performance). Strong track record in managing crossfunctional teams (production, quality, planning, engineering, finance) and working with stakeholders. Experience preparing and driving the site's CAPEX agenda, prioritising initiatives and delivering implementation within budget. Confident communicator with a practical leadership style. Fluent in Estonian and English (Russian is an advantage).
