About the role The main objective of this position is to lead Rides Operations productivity improvement related initiatives via automation, standardisation, centralisation and outsourcing to drive driver conversion improvement and operations cost efficiency across the Rides division. Main tasks and responsibilities Shaping the benchmark of our baseline supply operations by proposing relevant solutions (i.e. centralisation, outsourcing, elimination, standardisation, automation) and developing Standard Operating Procedures and playbooks. Ensuring the benchmark operations are in place by implementing the established benchmark, coordinating change management (including product feature roll-outs) and conducting operations onboardings/refreshers where necessary. Always be on top of operations performance by conducting regular process reviews and ensuring monitoring of our ops performance against the established benchmark. Continuously reiterate the baseline operations and find opportunities to improve ops efficiency and driver conversion metrics by analysing existing processes, identifying areas of improvement, understanding workflow requirements and fixing deviations. Use Lean and operational excellence methods/tools throughout your work and serve as an Operational Excellence advocate/ambassador. About you You have a proven experience of working with Operational Excellence, Lean/Six Sigma tools and problem solving methodologies to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of current operations and drive continuous improvement. You eliminate ambiguities fast to get to the root cause of a problem. You break down complex problems into actionable solutions. You are highly analytical and have a data-driven mindset with great Excel skills. You are a strong collaborator with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English. You are a self-starter with a can-do attitude, ability to take initiative, learn quickly, and think independently.
